Our Craft Lounge Blog Hop
Welcome to the Our Craft Lounge release blog hop! The design team is showing off the latest additions to the OCL collection today and playing along with this week’s OCL challenge. This week’s theme is an easy one—anything goes!
Here’s my card using one of the new Crafty Cling Rubber Singles sets, Fall Sunflower. My sunflower is colored with Copic markers. To add interest, I stamped the image a second time so I could layer the flower parts with a dimensional dot. I also paper pieced the flower’s center using a scrap of dotted designer paper. The flower’s set on a dotted “grass” panel that’s machine stitched to a blue sky background.
The image panel is set on a gold panel with a piece of striped patterned paper at the bottom for contrast. I ran a strip of green corduroy ribbon across the top of the striped paper panel—I love the corduroy texture for fall projects! The “have a sunny day” sentiment sits at the bottom of the image panel, accented by a baker’s twine tied button.
Be sure to head off to the next stop on the hop so you don’t miss a thing. The buttons below will keep you on track. And, don’t forget to leave comments on the participating blogs for a chance to win some blog candy—winners will be posted on the OCL blog tomorrow (Saturday).
