Talk Nerdy to Me

The school teacher in me couldn’t resist adding this new à la modes Talk Nerdy to Me set to my collection! I used her for this week’s My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club sketch challenge and it fits the new Touch Twin marker challenge blog’s Playing with Our Peeps challenge, too.

I colored the girl with Copic markers and cut her out. She’s set on a kraft panel with foam tape. I left plenty of room at the edge of the panel to stamp the “talk nerdy to me” sentiment along the side of the image. It's accented by a single silver brad.

The school theme carries over to the patterned papers I used for the cardfront—a pencil patterned one on top and an abc patterned one on the bottom. A pair of coordinating solid strips, matted with kraft, is layered over the patterned papers. The image panel is set on top, slightly offset from the strips. The pieces cover more of the school themed papers than I would have liked, but my intent is there . . .

Don't forget about my blog candy giveaway here. You still have a few days to enter for a chance to win a CutUps die from The Cat's Pajamas . . .
