And the Sneaky Peeks Continue . . .
This week’s blogger challenge theme is “falling for you.” It was open for interpretation, so I decided to merge the challenge with today’s Sneaky Peek from The Cat’s Pajamas.
I used the new Oh Chute set—love that bunny!—and this week’s CPS sketch, sponsored by TCP. I stamped the bunny on white cardstock and colored it with markers, then cut it out. There’s a little white flock on its tail for a cottontail-like appearance. The parachute is paper pieced using the same striped pattern I used for the three long panels on the cardfront.
I attached the bunny and parachute to the dot embossed sky using foam tape. Two felt clouds, cut apart from a strip I made with the CutUps Cloud Border die, fill in the sky around the bunny a bit. The “you’re miles above the rest” sentiment is stamped on a pink strip that’s slipped under the image panel. I dressed it up a bit by adding a piece of the new CutUps Circus Border die at the bottom.
Be sure to check out Alma’s blog for links to the rest of the Cat Pack members who are sharing Sneaky Peeks of this set today. And, don’t forget to leave a comment on the In It to Win It thread in our SCS forum for a chance to win one of the new sets!
