Clownin' Around with The Cat's Pajamas

It’s release time at The Cat’s Pajamas and the Cat Pack is following up our release night Pajama Party by sharing inspiration using the latest and greatest from TCP. We're all sharing cards made with the same fun sketch that also doubles as this week's TCP Tuesday challenge, so I hope you'll join us and give the sketch a try for a chance to win some Cat Cash! You should have arrived here from Jackie's blog. If not, head back to the start (HERE) so you don't miss a thing!

Here’s my card using the sketch. I used one of the penguins from the Clownin’ Around set as the focal image at the center of the star panel. The penguin’s colored in just a little with Copic markers and cut out, then set on the panel using foam tape. I stamped the juggling balls over the penguin’s head. After coloring them with Copic markers, I coated them with a little Glossy Accents for a shiny, dimensional look.

I kept the star theme going by using a star patterned paper panel behind the image. It’s stitched to a coordinating cardstock panel, then set on a red card base. I used the pennant strip from the CutUps Easy Rosette dies to make a panel for the “just clownin’ around” sentiment. It’s accented with a matching button that’s tied with a little red baker’s twine.

Nancy is your next stop along the hop. I know she'll have something fabulous to share that you don't want to miss!
