Color Throwdown 164-Best Witches

This week's Color Throwdown is being hosted by Broni and she's challenged us to use Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, and Basic Black. The colors are a great seasonal combination that's perfect for Halloween cards, so that's the direction I went for my card.

I used the Best Witches set from Our Craft Lounge for my card. The card is based on the sketch for this week's OCL challenge, flipped around a bit to fit the orientation of the image. The image is colored with Copic markers and highlighted with a little bit of clear Spica pen. I stamped the "best witches" sentiment right underneath those fun shoes.

I cut squares from two different patterned papers for the panels on the cardfront. They're layered on an olive panel, then on a black one. After wrapping a piece of orange grosgrain ribbon around the center of the panel, I set it on an orange card base. The image panel is set on a black panel for contrast, then attached to the cardfront. I used 3 mini brads as an accent on each side of the card. They're so teeny tiny that it was hard to get ahold of them to put them in place!

Be sure to check out what the rest of the Color Throwdown team has done with these fun colors. Here's where to find them:
