Sending a Lil' Mojo Your Way

Here’s a quick card for this week’s SCS clean and simple challenge. It’s a perfect one to brighten a fellow crafter’s day!

I used one of the tool-filled jar images from the new Craft Room set from Clear and Simple Stamps as my focal image. The jar is colored with Copic markers and cut out. I cut a strip of patterned paper to run across the card, rounding the edges with a corner rounder to soften the look before attaching it to the VIP Purple card base. The jar is set over the striped paper strip with foam tape.

I stamped the “sending a lil’ mojo your way” sentiment from the coordinating Crafty Sentiments set on the paper strip, then added a purple button, tied with matching satin ribbon, as an accent.

For more CSS inspiration, be sure to check out the CSS iPhone/iTouch app. A new project is shared daily, complete with step by step instructions. Here’s a sneak peek of my project that’s on the app today. You can get all the info on downloading the app here.
