I built a spooky night time scene on a gray cardstock panel. The bottom of the panel has two wavy edged strips of striped green paper as grass. I machine-stitched along the tops of the strips to add some definition to them. For the big yellow moon, I cut a circle from the panel using a circle die. A piece of dot embossed vellum is set behind the open circle, with a yellow panel placed behind that to give a yellow glow.I stamped the bat from the Sweet Spooks set on white cardstock and colored it with Copic markers, then cut it out and set it on the scene with dimensional dots. A few self-adhesive pearls are scattered around as stars. The set's "spooky" sentiment is stamped just underneath the moon in a sparkly silver ink. Spooky, but not too spooky, right?

ReplyDeleteSuper cute and sweet. I wish real bats were purple, then they'd seem more cute like this one is. Thanks for playing at CAS-ual Fridays this week!
