J*lly H*liday

Today is the final day of Sneaky Peeks leading up to the new release from The Cat’s Pajamas. The set we’re peeking today, J*lly H*liday, is perfect for clean and simple cards, so I have one to share based on the current sketch challenge at CAS-ual Fridays.

I stamped the set’s ornament image three times on a white panel and colored the ornaments in shades of red. After trying out several variations for “hanging” the ornaments on a scrap piece of cardstock, I settled on paper pierced faux stitched lines extending from each ornament straight to the top of the panel. The panel is layered on a shimmery silver piece, then on a red panel.

After setting the image panel on the card base, I stamped the “’tis the season to be jolly” sentiment in a combination of red and silver inks. I filled in the ornament for the “o” in “jolly” and colored it red to match the ornament trio above it. A double row of clear crystals adds a fun and festive sparkle.

Stop by Alma's blog for a list of the rest of the Cat Pack members who are sharing Sneaky Peeks today. And, be sure to join us tonight in the TCP forum on SCS for the pre-release Pajama Party. You don’t want to miss out on all the fun and games!
