Something Yummy

This week’s Our Craft Lounge challenge is to be inspired by a fairy tale. As a kindergarten teacher, the story of The Gingerbread Man (and the many modern variations!) is close to my heart, so I went with that for the challenge.

I filled a cute little kraft bag with a gingerbread cookie (I promise, it’s in there!) and wrapped it up with some red grosgrain ribbon. I used a pair of images from the Gingerbread Fun set to make a cute little tag to dress it up. I stamped the “something yummy for your tummy!” sentiment on a white circle, then attached the tiny colored gingerbread man in the center with foam tape. After die cutting a small tag from red cardstock and attaching a strip of festive striped paper to it, I added the gingerbread man panel. A pair of copper brads sits off to the side—they’re a nice match for the gingerbread man’s warm brown color. I used a little red baker’s twine to secure the tag to the package. What a sweet little gift!

You can find all the details on this week's challenge right here. Participants are entered for a chance to win an OCL set at the end of the month, so you don't want to miss out!
