TCP Tuesday 183-Handle with Care

I’m excited to be taking over the hostessing duties for the TCP Tuesday color challenges and sharing my very first color combination with you today. I decided to go somewhat seasonal with this pretty mix of colors—red, marigold, and chocolate brown.

I used Bear Hugs, one of TCP’s adorable bear sets, for my card. The bear’s colored with Copic markers. I paper pieced the heart in his hands with a scrap of dotted paper. After I cut him out, I used foam tape to set him on a patterned paper panel. The set’s “handle with care” sentiment is stamped on a red pennant strip cut with the CutUps Easy Rosette die and slipped underneath the image.

I embossed a yellow panel with a dot pattern and set that on a red card base. After attaching a red strip wrapped with some red baker’s twine, I layered on the image panel on a slant. A red button at the bottom of the panel finishes things off.

I hope you’ll play along with this week’s challenge for your chance to win this week's Cat Cash prize. Just upload your project to the photo album on Alma’s blog to enter—and be sure to keep an eye out for the links to the rest of the Cat Pack’s projects that Alma will be posting throughout the week.
