Runway Inspired Rainbow

Clear and Simple Stamps is sponsoring the latest Runway Inspired Challenge. The current challenge is based on this photo of trendy resortwear.

Check out the fabulous rainbow colors—and the added pop of green from the model’s shoes. Those elements are the ones that inspired my clean and simple creation.

I used the small heart border builder strip from the Hearts Plus set to make a rainbow striped panel for the cardfront. Once I was done stamping, I layered the panel on a green mat, then set it on a white card base. I stamped the “you color my world” sentiment from the Craft Room set in black on a white notch-edged panel and set that across the cardfront, accented with a green button tied with a piece of green satin ribbon.

Be sure to check out all of the challenge details here. CSS is offering up a great prize for the challenge winner . . .

Materials Used:
Hearts Plus and Craft Room stamp sets, Perfect Little Black Dress, Haute Red Couture, Creamsicle Cardigan, Say Yellow to All Your Fans, Green with Envy, Party Teal Dawn, and VIP Purple inks, Green with Envy and A Blanc Check cardstock, Green with Envy satin ribbon, Green with Envy button (Clear and Simple Stamps)
