Blogger Challenge: Week 248
This week’s blogger challenge theme is Easter. I made a sweet invitation to an Easter egg hunt using images from the Cart Pals: Baby and Cart Pals: Occasions sets from Clear and Simple Stamps.
I stamped the cart base in black ink, then added the egg image at the top of the cart and colored the images with Copic markers, choosing spring-like pastel colors for the eggs. The colored image is set on a card base covered with coordinating papers—a green dotted one that covers most of the card and coordinating pastel panels to set the colored image off from the rest of the card.
I used bits and pieces of a few different sentiments to create the “come to an egg hunt” sentiment that’s stamped on a pink notch-edged strip. A yellow bow sits at one edge of the strip—the ribbon actually hides the holes from some failed machine stitching that went awry and I had to remove . . .
