Color Throwdown 185-Bundle of Joy

It’s time for another Color Throwdown! This week, Broni’s brought us a pretty spring color combination to try—Regal Rose, Certainly Celery, Basic Black, and Basic Gray. I used the colors to put together a sweet baby card using the Special Bundle stamp set from Clear and Simple Stamps.

I used the set’s stork as the focal image, setting it on a girly pink grid panel with some green dotted die cut grass at the bottom. Instead of coloring the stork or using colored cardstock for the body, I stamped the set’s matching dotted stork image in gray ink to fill in the image outline. The stork’s bundle is colored with pink Copic markers. I stamped the “bundle of joy” sentiment on a round panel and added it to the bottom of the scene. It’s accented with a small piece of knotted rose satin ribbon.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD185. Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team:
