Bunny Inspired

***Scroll down to the post below to see my Clear and Simple Stamps Release Review post!***

This week’s Our Craft Lounge challenge is an inspiration challenge based on this photo. The first thing that caught my eye was the adorable fluffy white bunny—I do have a soft spot in my heart for all things bunny!—but in the end, I used the pretty yellow tulips as the inspiration for this clean and simple design.

I stamped the flowers and stems from the Pretty Petals set on a white panel and colored them with Copic markers. I stamped the flowers a second time on a scrap of white cardstock, colored them and cut them out, then used foam tape to attach them to the cardfront.

A strip of lemon cardstock is set at the bottom of the panel, just underneath the ends of the stems. I wrapped a strip of yellow satin/grosgrain ribbon, left over from our May Arts ribbon feature earlier this month (they were very generous!), and knotted it at the top of the lemon panel. The panel is attached to a pale green card base. I stamped the “thanks for being my friend” sentiment from the Say it with Flowers set next to the flowers in matching green ink.

Be sure to check out the OCL blog for all the challenge details.
