CSS Group Project: Neutral Nursery Inspired

For this month's Clear and Simple Stamps design team group project, the design team created projects inspired by the lovely nursery featured in the photo above. I went with a sweet gender neutral card in earthy colors with just a little sparkle, in a nod to the elegant crystal chandelier in the photo.

I used the sweet giraffe from the Baby Shower stamp set as my focal image. I die cut the image with the coordinating die from the Baby Shower die set, then embossed it with a dotted pattern to add interest and texture. It's set on a cream oval with foam tape.

I edged a Kraft Like a Rockstar Tan panel with CSS's Simple Adhesive, then peeled back the backing and coated it with fine glitter. After tapping off the excess glitter, I added a dark brown notch edged strip at the center of the panel, then layered the image panel on top. I stamped the "welcome baby" sentiment from the Baby Sentiments set on a tan panel and set that underneath the image. A pretty cream bow adds one final elegant touch.

Don't miss what the rest of the design team has created based on this inspiration photo. Here's where to find them:
