Color Throwdown 192-Feel Better Soon

It’s time for another Color Throwdown! This week, Tammy’s brought us a pretty color palette to try—Sage Shadow, Tangerine Tango, Regal Rose, and Melon Mambo. I took my inspiration not just from the color combination, but from the inspiration photo, too, when I made this floral card

I used this week’s sketch from Retro Sketches along with some new stamps from Clear and Simple Stamps. I used CSS’s Flowers set for the focal image. The flower stems were stamped on a white panel in A Clean Slate ink, then I went back and added the flowers in pink and orange inks. The stamped panel is layered on an orange mat, then set on a melon card base. I stamped the “feel better soon” sentiment from the All Occasions 1 set on a rose strip in matching ink, then layered the strip over the bottom of the image panel. It’s accented with a pair of self-adhesive pearls, one at each end of the strip. An elegant white satin ribbon strip, tied in a bow underneath the image panel, completes the card.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD192. Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team and May’s guestie, Kittie Caracciolo:
