Market Street Stamps June Block Party
I'm joining in on this month's Market Street Stamps Block Party. My card combines two MSS sets for a classic-looking wedding card based on this week's I Spy Sketches challenge.
I created my card in a trendy golden yellow and gray color scheme. The card's top panel is made from an elegant damask patterned paper from a Lily Bee Design paper pad. The trio of panels at the bottom of the card are made with Market Street's Houndstooth background stamp, stamped on shimmery white cardstock in gray ink. I used the new Memento Gray Flannel ink--the new colors have just arrived at i {heart} papers and they're so pretty!
The congratulatory sentiment from the Simple Salutations set is stamped in the same shimmery white/gray combination. I used some pretty rose lace trim at the top of the herringbone panels, then secured the sentiment panel with dimensional dots. A trio of pearls beneath the sentiment panel adds a final elegant detail.
Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers: Market Street Stamps Houndstooth and Simple Salutations stamp sets, Tsukineko Memento Gray Flannel ink, Lily Bee Design Buttercup 6x6 paper pad, Maya Road organza rose trim, KaiserCraft white pearls, Sticky Thumb dimensional dots
other: Basic Gray and Shimmery White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Sweet Corn cardstock (Gina K Design); petite oval dies (Spellbinders)
