Ooh-la-la

Here's my girlie card for today's SCS clean and simple challenge.  I used the sketch with a pair of stamp sets from Waltzingmouse Stamps for this pink pearly and frilly creation.

The dress form from the You're Lovely set is my focal image.  I stamped it in brown ink on a cream panel, then stamped the top of the dress form again on kraft cardstock, cut it out, and attached it to the panel with foam tape.  The edges of the dress form and the cream panel are inked with some distress ink for a soft, aged look.

I attached a strip of pink and cream striped paper to the pink cardfront, then wrapped a piece of white seam binding around it.  The image panel is set over that with the seam binding between the image panel and the kraft mat beneath it.  I stamped the "ooh-la-la" sentiment from the Compact Sentiments set along the side of the panel in brown ink.  A strip of small pearls underneath the patterned paper strip adds a final feminine detail to the design.

Materials Used:
You're Lovely and Compact Sentiments stamp sets (Waltzingmouse Stamps); MementoToffee Crunch ink (Tsukineko); Sweet Blush cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Spring Fling 6x6 paper pad (Teresa Collins); self-adhesive pearls (Recollections); white seam binding; foam tape
