Cheers
Here’s my card for today’s SCS clean and simple challenge to make a card featuring a summer treat. I went with a refreshing, tall, cool drink. It may be an adult beverage—or not. I’ll leave that up to you to decide—LOL!
I used the tall glass image from the By the Glass set from Clear and Simple Stamps for my focal image. I stamped the glass and striped straw on a scrap of white cardstock and colored the image with Copic markers, then cut it out. It’s set on a white panel stamped with the chevron image from the Designer Lines set. I stamped the “cheers” sentiment from the By the Glass Sentiments set along the side of the glass in black ink. A narrow yellow cardstock strip runs underneath the image, hiding an unfortunate tiny black ink smudge/smear. I set the card on a matching yellow card base for a nice, cheerful look.
Materials Used:
By the Glass, By the Glass Sentiments, and Designer Lines stamp sets, Perfect Little Black Dress ink, Say Yellow to All Your Fans and A Blanc Check cardstock, Copic markers-Y11, Y13, Y15, Y18, YG05, B0000 (Clear and Simple Stamps); Mustard Seed distress ink (Ranger); foam tape
