CSS Group Post: White Out

For this month’s Clear and Simple Stamps group project, we’re having a white out. Labor Day’s fast approaching and you know the rule—no white after Labor Day! So, we’re all sharing projects with white on white elements.

I made a quick set of square note cards with a summer and beach theme using the Summer Fun and Seaside Sentiments 1 stamp sets. Each card has the same layout, but uses a different color scheme and image to keep things interesting. All of the cards feature a circular window in the front white panel with an image set inside the window.

Here, the image inside the window is a sun, stamped in yellow and orange inks to coordinate with the yellow panel behind the image. I stamped the coordinating sentiment beneath the opening in black ink, then used foam tape to attach the panel to the cardfront. I could have made more of these in no time at all—these three cards don’t come near exhausting the possibilities for these stamp sets!

Don’t miss what the rest of the CSS team has created for this month’s challenge. Here’s where to find them:
