The rest of the card’s pretty simple. I attached a green patterned paper panel to a blue card base and machine stitched around the edges, then layered on a pair of coordinating green cardstock strips and some light blue grosgrain ribbon before attaching the image panel on top. I stamped the set’s “you are my whirl” sentiment in the bottom right corner in blue ink. It's a little lost in the pattern, but I think it still shows up enough to get the message across.
Materials Used:
Playful Pinwheels stamp set (Waltzingmouse Stamps); Pear Tart and Bahama Blue inks (Tsukineko); Bashful Blue and Whisper White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Creme de Menthe and Grass Green cardstock (Gina K Designs); Country Drive-Just Dandy designer paper (Echo Park); circle die (Spellbinders); light blue grosgrain ribbon (Michaels); silver brad; wooden skewer; foam tape
Lori, this is just so sweet and the colors so bright and cheerful. I love that your used an actual stick for your pinwheel. Just too adorable.
