Call Me
I'm joining in on this month's Market Street Stamps Block Party with this fun creation based on this week's Mojo Monday sketch. I've been wanting to use the Great Big Greetings set for a while and it worked perfectly here paired with the phone from the Teacher Notes set.
I stamped the phone and sentiment on a white circle panel in gray ink, then stamped the phone again on a scrap of pale pink cardstock. After cutting the pink image out and adding a twisted twine "cord," I used dimensional dots to attach it to the image panel. To give the phone a little more interest, I stamped it again on white cardstock and this time, cut out just the keypad. I attached it to the pink phone and coated it with Glossy Accents for a dimensional look.
I decided to use two different washi tapes for the strips that run most of the length of the card. Since they were both patterned, I decided to emboss the light pink panel on the cardfront with a simple diagonal striped pattern instead of using a patterned paper. I added a pair of coordinating circles at the left side of the card and a pink button, tied with matching baker's twine at the side of the image panel. What a fun card to send on to a friend you're thinking about and want to catch up with!
