Here’s my card for today’s peek and sketch challenge. I used Gemma as my focal image. She’s colored up with Copic markers and layered over a piece of snowflake patterned paper. The “thanks snow much” sentiment from the Kimmie’s Holiday Sentiments set is stamped along the side of the image panel. I used my stamp positioner to get it nice and straight.
The edges of the snowflake patterned paper panel are dirtied up a bit with some distress ink, then machine stitched for a finished look. I used the striped pattern found on the reverse side of the snowflake paper for the contrasting strip across the cardfront. The panel’s wrapped with some rustic twine. I added a super glittery die cut snowflake and a little silver bell as accents, securing them both with the twine.
Materials Used:
Moonlight Whispers Gemma and Kimmie's Holiday Sentiments stamp sets (Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko); Tea Dye distress ink (Ranger); markers (Copic); Cranberry Crisp cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); Kraft cardstock, twine (Papertrey Ink); Jingle--Eggnog designer paper (Lily Bee Design); silver glitter paper, silver bell (Michaels); Snowflake Trio die (My Favorite Things); sewing machine
