Piecing it Together with Miss Information

This week’s Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps challenge is to do some paper piecing on your project. I used the Moonlight Whispers Miss Information image and this week’s CPS sketch for my timely, school themed creation.

I colored most of the image with Copic markers, then paper pieced Miss Information’s skirt using a scrap of dotted patterned paper. I shaded the letters above her pointer with markers in shades that match the colors in the dotted paper that I used for the panel behind the image. A strip of red grosgrain ribbon, matted on teal and yellow cardstock panels, runs across the dotted panel. I added two twine-threaded buttons as accents. And to dress things up a bit, I attached some pieces of a clear crystal flourish to either side of the image. The “you deserve an A+” sentiment is stamped on the bottom right corner of the cardfront.

By the way, Miss Information is just one of the fun Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps images that’s part of this week’s Frugal Friday special. Several of Kraftin' Kimmie's most popular stamps are on special for 30-50% OFF, but just for the weekend, so scoop them up while you can!  You can find all the details here.

Be sure to stop by the Kraftin’ Kimmie blog to see what the rest of the amazing Krafty Girls and guests have created for this week’s challenge. I'll have another Kraftin' Kimmie creation to share tomorrow morning . . .
