I made a butterfly themed card candy kit. The butterflies were die cut with the Butterflies 1 dies. I used some pastel patterned paper scraps for the butterflies. To add extra dimension, some of the butterflies are layered with vellum that's attached just at the center of the die cut. This allows the top layer of vellum to be softly bent up to give an illusion of motion. Each butterfly has some tiny pearls at the center for an elegant touch--and to hide any trace of adhesive used to attach the vellum layer to the patterned paper (sneaky, I know!).
The butterflies are attached to an acetate sheet with foam tape. They're ready to be peeled off and added to a card. To present them, I put them in a clear plastic box (that's why the photo is so glare-y!) and added a little die cut Favor Flag label to the front.
