Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 169-Hello

It’s time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge!  Karen's sketch for this week is a square card that I did up in a clean and simple style.

Here’s my take on the sketch. I used the photo from the current Paper Smooches Sparks challenge as inspiration. I created my own fall colored tree with the Gently Seasoned set, stamping the branches in several different colors of ink. For a whimsical touch, I added some gingham strips at the bottom of the panel as grass and a tiny wooden bird nestled in the branches of the tree.

The image is set on a kraft panel with a green strip across it. I covered the green strip with a coordinating dotted green patterned paper and added the “hello” sentiment from the Chit Chat set on a strip of cream twill. A trio of copper brads alongside the image finish the design
