Celebrate the Season Simply
Here's my card for this week's SCS featured stamper challenge. It's based on this Thanksgiving card seen here. It was easy to change this one up into a winter holiday card by switching up the stamps and colors from fall-like earth toned leaves to icy blue snowflakes.
I used several snowflake stamps from Papertrey Ink's Snowflake Medley stamp set for the flakes. I stamped them in different shades of blue inks along the upper right and lower left corners of a white cardstock panel.
Once I'd finished stamping the flakes, I stamped the "celebrate the season" sentiment from the Holiday Tree set in the white space in the lower right section of the panel. The panel is matted on dark blue cardstock, then set on a white card base. Simple, but it gets the message across.
Materials Used:
Snowflake Medley and Holiday Tree stamp sets, Enchanted Evening, Hawaiian Shores, and Aqua Mist inks (Papertrey Ink); Vivid Beach Glass ink (Clearsnap); Not Quite Navy and Whisper White cardstock (Stampin' Up!)
