I'll Drink to That
Here’s my card for this week’s Kraftin’ Kimmie challenge to create a festive card. With her fancy party getup and raised glass, the Moonlight Whispers Sophia image definitely fits the bill! I paired Sophia with this week’s sketch from The Paper Players in this simple card.
Sophia is colored with Copic markers to coordinate with the pink and gray dotted paper I used behind the image panel. It’s hard to see in the photo, but I added a little shimmer to her pink eyeshadow with the help of a clear Spica pen. The image panel is edged with strips of shiny silver paper to set it off from the patterned panel. I stamped the set’s “I’ll drink to that” sentiment on a pink die cut banner strip and set it in place beneath the colored image. Simple, but celebratory!
Materials Used:
Moonlight Whispers Sophia stamp set (Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps); white cardstock (Taylored Expressions); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko); markers and clear Spica pen (Copic); Innocent Pink cardstock (Gina K Designs); silver paper (Recollections); Stella & Rose-Hazel 6x6 paper pad (My Mind’s Eye); double ended banner die (Papertrey Ink)
