Look on the Bright Side

I'm joining in on this month's Market Street Stamps Block Party with this cheery card using the Bright Side stamp set.  This cute little stamp set was designed by Stephanie, my newest teammate at i {heart} papers.

I stamped the set's lightbulb on white cardstock, then colored it with several yellow Copic markers.  The base is colored with silver gel pen for a metallic look.

I cut the colored image out and used dimensional dots to set it on the cardfront over a pair of layered patterned paper panels.  I went with a bolder chevron pattern and a more subtle grid pattern.  The grid paper's accented with a pair of silver brads for some shine.  I stamped the set's sentiment in black ink on a yellow notch-ended panel.  It's attached to the card so it extends out from underneath the bulb.  I love the pop of the yellow and black against the white background!

  1. Love, love, LOVE what you've done with this set, girl! The papers are perfect, and the color palette, if it's possible, is even more so. Thanks so much for playing along with us this month at Market Street Stamps!
