Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 172-Sweet Friend

It’s time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! This week’s sketch is great for showing off a few small images, like I did in my take on the sketch.

I used a trio of sweet strawberries to fill in the squares. The berries were die cut using the Mini Fruit dies from Clear and Simple Stamps and filled in with the matching images from the Perfect Harvest stamp set. The solid images are very easy to line up inside both the die cut pieces and the stamped outlined images. After adhering the berries to green squares using foam tape and matting them on coral cardstock squares, I arranged them at the bottom of a pink dotted paper panel.

The “for a sweet friend” sentiment, made by combining different pieces of sentiments from the Rag Doll House: Shop set, is stamped on a narrow Favor Flags die cut strip and added to the card so it extends out from underneath one of the berries. I added a matching coral button to the berry, tied with baker’s twine as an accent.
