Blogger Challenge: Week 288

This week's blogger challenge theme is sparkle and shine. I used one of my Lil' Inker Designs snowflake dies and some sparkly silver paper along with the current sketch from Freshly Made Sketches for this simple, shiny card.

I started with a piece of snowflake patterned paper.  A strip of silver paper, edged with a dark blue mat, runs across the patterned paper.  I used a lighter blue to make a partial background to set the die cut snowflake on.  It's edged in the same darker blue to tie the pieces together.  The "you are one of a kind" sentiment from the Lil' Inker Winter Greetings set is stamped in dark blue ink on the silver strip. The blue ink looks so pretty against the sparkly silver!

For more projects featuring sparkle and shine, check out the link list below.  And, feel free to add a link to a newly created sparkly and shiny project of your own, too!

Materials Used:
Winter Greetings stamp set and snowflake die (Lil' Inker Designs); Marina Mist cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Enchanted Evening cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Sterling Silver cardstock (Clear and Simple Stamps); Arctic Winter matstack (DCWV); clear crystal; foam tape
