Shine On

Here's my card for today's SCS featured stamper challenge.  Since I put it together in *just* under 10 minutes (9 minutes, 47 seconds!), it also works for the current 10 Minute Craft Dash/CAS-ual Fridays holiday themed challenge, too.

My card is based on this clean and simple holiday card. I flipped the orientation of the layout and used different stamps, switching out the ornament for the light bulb in the Shine On set from Market Street Stamps.  The bulb is colored with Copic markers and covered with a generous coat of Glossy Accents for a pretty shine.  After adding a piece of red baker's twine to the top of the bulb, I used dimensional dots to adhere it to the cardfront, overlapping the sentiment strip just a bit.  The set's "shine on" sentiment is stamped on a white notch ended strip that is attached to the cardfront with more dimensional dots. Simple, but so eye catching in person!

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papersMarket Street Stamps Shine On stamp set, X-Press white Copic blending cardstock, Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Copic markers (R12, R14, R17, R29, C-1, C-3, C-5), Ranger Glossy Accents, Divine Twine Cherry Red baker's twine, Sticky Thumb dimensional dots
