Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 173-Warm Wishes

It’s time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! I used this week’s sketch for a fun wintery design.

I used an adorable image and matching die from Poppystamps to make a little scene on the round panel. That bundled up little girl and her dog are too cute! I can’t imagine my Chloe the cutie puppy sitting nicely in a sled like that if there was a pile of fresh snow to play in, though. The colored image is attached to a snowflake embossed panel, rubbed with some shimmery white ink for a frosty look, with a torn shimmery white “snowbank” at the bottom.

A strip of snowflake patterned paper, topped with some coordinating striped light blue twill, sits at the left side of the card. After setting the image panel over the patterned paper strip, I added a pair of layered felt snowflakes with a clear crystal at the center for a little sparkle. The “warm wishes” sentiment from the Paper Smooches Hot Concoctions set is stamped beneath the image panel in red ink.

To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on Karen’s blog. For lots of inspiration be sure to check out what the other Sweet Sunday Sketch stampers and our special guest stamper, Lisa Henke, have created for you this week. Here’s where to find them:
