Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 176-You Rock my World

It’s time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! My take on the sketch is pretty clean and simple with a bold black and red color combo to give it interest.

I love the bold, graphic designs in the new Lovey Dovey Sentiments set from My Favorite Things. I used the heart and banner image here as my focal point on the large circle image. The image is stamped in red ink, cut out, and adhered to the panel with foam tape.

I used two different patterned papers from an American Crafts paper pad for the big panels on the cardfront. I loved the look of the arrow patterned paper with the bold heart image! I went with a less busy red on red dotted paper to cover most of the cardfront and a plain solid cardstock strip for the panel across the front of the card. To dress up the solid cardstock a bit, I wrapped it with some black baker’s twine before adding the image panel on top.
