Way to Go Mojo

Here’s a fun, encouraging card using this week’s Mojo Monday sketch and Avery Elle’s Framed Fonts set. I was glad that I managed to use up some older papers in the process, too. Gotta clear some of them out to make room for new stuff!

The set’s congratulations block image is front and center here. I stamped it in a rusty colored ink on a cream panel that’s layered on a coordinating mat, then on some arrow patterned paper, picking up the arrow image that’s in the text block. I layered the panels on top of some dotted paper that’s matted on the same coordinating cardstock as the other panels to tie it all together.

The panel is set on a golden yellow card base with a strip of rusty velvet ribbon across it. Once the panel was in place, I used foam tape to add a star punched from yellow cardstock just to the right of the text panel.

I’ll have another Avery Elle design to share tomorrow morning . . .

Materials Used:
Framed Fonts stamp set (Avery Elle); Memento Potter’s Clay ink (Tsukineko); So Saffron and Very Vanilla cardstock, large star punch (Stampin’ Up!); Canyon Clay cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Away We Go 6x6 paper pad (My Mind’s Eye); pennant trim die (Verve Stamps); Zig Zag Stitch border punch (EK Success); amber velvet ribbon (American Crafts); foam tape
