Hi

Here's my card for this week's Muse challenge.  I was inspired by the graphic designs in the stripes of the inspiration card along with the fun color scheme.

I have some of the same washi tape that's found on the inspiration card, but I decided to use stamps instead of the tape on my card.  My design uses one of the border strips from the Air Mail set from Clear and Simple Stamps.  I stamped the same strip three times, varying the color and length of the strip each time I stamped.  It took me a few (okay, more than a few) practice runs before I came up with an arrangement that I liked.  Once I settled on this one, I added some black Thickers spelling "hi."  I decided to use Thickers instead of die cut letters or regular stickers to give the design a little dimension.  The panel is set on a black mat for contrast, then adhered to a teal blue card base.

Materials Used:
Air Mail stamp set, Simply Blue-tiful, Creamsicle Cardigan, and Say Yellow to All Your Fans inks, Party Teal Dawn, Perfect Little Black Dress, and A Blanc Check cardstock (Clear and Simple Stamps); black letter stickers (Thickers)
