Happy Bird-day
Here's my card for this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club sketch challenge. I'm still in need of birthday cards, so I made another one using the sketch.
I used the Pure Innocence So Tweet set for the image panel. I colored the girl with Copic markers, then paper pieced her dress with a scrap of dotted paper. The image is layered on orange cardstock, then set over a coordinating orange and aqua patterned paper panel matted on the same orange cardstock to tie the pieces together. I arranged the panels on an aqua card base, then added the set's "happy bird-day" sentiment on an aqua circle adhered to a decorative edged circle.
Materials Used:
Pure Innocence So Tweet stamp set (My Favorite Things); white cardstock (Taylored Expressions); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko); Vivid Beach Glass ink (Clearsnap); Aqua Mist and Summer Sunrise cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Stella and Rose-Mabel 6x6 paper pad (My Mind's Eye); Lacey Circle die (Spellbinders); circle punch (EK Success); foam tape
