Celebrate Today and Every Day

Here’s my card for this week’s Mojo Monday sketch challenge. I love the great mix of fonts in the new Avery Elle Celebrate stamp set and thought they’d be great as the focal point of this sketch.

I stamped the “celebrate today and every day” in pink ink on a white panel, then stamped some of the set’s confetti and star images around it as accents. The stamped panel is matted with a coordinating pink cardstock panel, then set on a bold chevron patterned paper. I matted the chevron panel on the same pink cardstock as the image panel and added a decorative silver open scalloped strip along the bottom, then set it on a teal card base. A piece of light blue faux suede ribbon runs down the card, covering the left edge of the image panel. I added a silver star to the ribbon, right near the bottom corner of the sentiment panel. A trio of clear gems along the left side of the card adds just a little more sparkle to the festive design.
