Color Throwdown 235-Thinking of You

It’s time for another Color Throwdown! This week, we're working with Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, Chocolate Chip, and White based on this yummy inspiration photo found for us by Denise.

I didn't have the exact colors for the challenge, so I did a little improvising with some older paper in my stash. The layout is based on the current Deconstructed Sketch. I found some pink chevron patterned paper for the two panels set across the cardfront. Once they were in place, I wrapped a bit of white ribbon around the panel and added a pretty bow, made with my Bow Easy. I added a trio of contrasting brown pennants underneath the larger patterned paper panel. Each one's dotted with a small pink gem for a little sparkle.

The sentiment is from the Avery Elle All Squared Up stamp set. I stamped it on the white oval in a chocolate brown ink, then layered it on a matching chocolate brown panel before adhering it to the cardfront.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD235. Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team and March’s guest designer, Kim Howard.
