This week’s Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge is a trend watch challenge focusing on smiles. So many Paper Smooches sets feature adorable smiling images—or include smiles that you can add to images—so this was a fun one to work on!

Once I had the bee in place, I added a notch-ended strip beneath it, then stamped the set’s “hello honey” sentiment at the end in red ink for a nice pop of color. To add some movement to the card, I cut apart a crystal flourish and positioned it on the card so it extended out from behind the bee like a flight trail. To bring the bee to life, I filled in the bee’s eyes with Glossy Accents and dotted the wings with some Stickles. A trio of solid hearts, stamped in red next to the bee, finishes the design.
