Sending You Love

This week’s blogger challenge theme is red, white, and blue. My card uses the traditional patriotic color trio in a trendy, non-patriotic fashion.

I die cut a trio of tiny envelopes from white cardstock and assembled them, then used images from the Air Mail stamp set from Clear and Simple Stamps to dress them up with some postage images. Each envelope is “sealed” with a tiny red heart, cut with a die tucked into the Build-a-Critter Owl and Kitty die set.

The envelopes are arranged on a light blue panel. Two of the envelopes are popped up on foam tape for some dimension. I stamped the “sending you love” sentiment using a combination of stamps from the Love Cupid set at the bottom of the panel, then layered it on a red card base.

Materials Used:
Air Mail and Love Cupid stamp sets, Dare to Be a Diva Red and Simply Blue-tiful inks, Trendsetter Blue, Dare to Be a Diva Red, and A Blanc Check cardstock, Tiny Note and Envie and Build-a-Critter Owl and Kitty dies (Clear and Simple Stamps); foam tape
