You Rock

Here’s a quick design for the current Ten Minute Craft Dash challenge. I combined the challenge colors with this week’s sketch from Freshly Made Sketches to put this card together in 7 minutes and 38 seconds.

I used a piece of gray dotted patterned paper to cover most of the cardfront. The panel is edged with a strip of melon cardstock and a piece of golden yellow  scallop edged velvet ribbon for a pop of bold color and some texture, too. I stamped the big diamond image from Neat and Tangled’s Sparkle and Shine stamp set in silver ink and cut out the stamped image. It’s adhered to the cardfront with dimensional dots.

The “you rock” sentiment is stamped in pink ink on a fishtail flag strip that’s tucked underneath the diamond image. I scattered a few silver sequins around the image for a little extra sparkle. They’re perfect accents for the diamond image!
