Freshly Made Floral Thank You

I’m not much of a floral person, but I’ve seen so many fabulous creations with the WPlus9 Fresh Cut Florals stamp set that I had to add it to my collection. I put it to use for this feminine thank you card made with the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.

I stamped one of the set’s flower images in two shades of pink inks on white flower die cuts. The center of each flower is dotted with a tiny bit of pink Liquid Pearls for a little dimension. They’re adhered to a pink tag, die cut with WPlus9’s Timeless Tags 2 die. I stamped the set’s “thank you” sentiment at the bottom of the tag, then added a piece of knotted fuchsia faux suede ribbon to the top of the tag.

The tag is set on a piece of green patterned paper edged with a dark pink mat. I embossed a pale pink panel with a dotted pattern and set the patterned strip on top. The embossing helps to set the same color pink tag off from the background a bit. The finished panel is adhered to a dark pink card base.  Not bad--florals just might be growing on me . . .
