After matting the stamped panel, I set it on an orange card base with a piece of multicolored hexagon patterned paper. I used the Die-namics Lead the Way dies to cut an arrow to place at the bottom of the sentiment panel, pointing up. The chevron pieces were cut free-hand. They turned out okay, though I’m not so happy with how the top, narrow one turned out. Once the arrow and chevrons were in place, I added a strip of washi tape to the top of the panel in place of the elongated speech bubble shape and scattered a trio of gold sequins around the words for a little sparkle.
Materials Used:
Bold Statements stamp set, Lemon Drop and Orange Fizz cardstock, Die-namics Lead the Way dies (My Favorite Things); Vivid Beach Glass ink (Clearsnap); Sea Glass cardstock (Avery Elle); Turquoise Sea cardstock (Gina K Designs); The Sweetest Thing-Tangerine 6x6 patterned paper pad (My Mind’s Eye); yellow chevron washi tape, gold sequins (Michaels)
Very cool combination of color and pattern Lori! The teal arrow is awesome!
