My card is based on the current sketch from Retro Sketches. I started off by covering a card base with a piece of red paper with a subtle pattern. I used my paper cutter to cut the top panel from a piece of More Mustard cardstock. To squeeze in a bit of Crushed Curry, I cut a narrow strip from the edge of the More Mustard panel. After adhering a piece of textured Crushed Curry cardstock behind the More Mustard panel, I adhered the narrow strip to the Crushed Curry piece, letting just a bit of it show in the gap between the pieces. The finished panel is attached to the top of the cardfront with dimensional dots.
I stamped the “thank you” sentiment from Reverse Confetti’s Forever Fall set on the More Mustard panel in gray ink. To bring in some of the Garden Green, I inked a wood veneer leaf with a green Memento Luxe ink pad (the wood piece takes the ink beautifully!) and adhered it to the card next to the sentiment. It’s accented with a trio of sequins.
To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD262.
Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team and our October guestie, Sankari Wegman.

Absolutely stunning Lori! Gorgeous. Simply elegantly festively perfect. I make a set of cards each year for my kids and this would be perfectly appropriate for a 27 1/2 year old young-ish guy -- a couple anyway; mixed in with general occasion cards. Thanks for sharing!
