Hello Pumpkin

Here’s my card for this month’s Sketch for You to Try. I went seasonal with this one, using the sketch with Reverse Confetti’s Forever Fall set.

I stamped a trio of pumpkin images on white cardstock and cut them out, then used dimensional dots to adhere them to layered cardstock circles. The circles are arranged on a kraft panel topped with a piece of green woodgrain patterned paper and a strip of orange faux suede ribbon. I love the unexpected green color with this pattern! A little machine stitching around the woodgrain panel’s edges gives a little contrast to all the green.

I stamped the set’s “hello pumpkin” sentiment on the woodgrain panel in Memento Luxe Rich Cocoa ink, then scattered a few orange enamel dots around the words. The finished panel is adhered to a green card base.

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers: Reverse Confetti Forever Fall stamp set, Tsukineko Memento Luxe Rich Cocoa and Pistachio inks and Memento Tangelo ink, Doodlebug Design Happy Harvest 6x6 paper pad and Tangerine Orange Sprinkles enamel dots, May Arts orange faux suede ribbon, Sticky Thumb dimensional dots

Other: Simply Chartreuse and Kraft cardstock (Papetrey Ink); Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); circle punches (EK Success); sewing machine
