Rain or Shine

Here’s my card for the current 10 Minute Craft Dash challenge. I used the challenge colors—lipstick red, turquoise, and olive—to make a simple friendship themed card with Verve’s Rain or Shine stamp set.

I did my stamping on a white panel. To keep things super simple, I paper pieced the umbrella using a piece of patterned paper that included all of the challenge colors. It’s attached to the panel with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment next to the umbrella in red ink, then scattered a few turquoise sequin raindrops around the umbrella. After edging the panel with red and olive cardstock strips, I adhered it to a turquoise card base. Finished in 8 minutes, 22 seconds!
