Love You

Here's a simple love themed design for the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  The scrap of heart patterned paper on my desk was the starting point for this design.

After adhering a narrow strip of dark pink cardstock to the patterned paper piece, I cut it in two pieces and arranged them on a pink cardstock panel, leaving a gap between the two pieces.  I die cut a heart from pink felt and adhered it to the end of one of the patterned paper pieces.  The "I love you" sentiment from Papertrey Ink's Bountiful Banners set is stamped underneath the other patterned piece.  A few pink sequins scattered around the heart add a little sparkle to the simple design.

Materials Used:
Bountiful Banners stamp set, Heart Prints dies, Raspberry Fizz felt (Papertrey Ink); Memento Luxe Rose Bud ink (Tsukineko); Melon Mambo cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Bubblegum Pink cardstock (Gina K Designs); Sweet Cakes 6x6 paper pad (Doodlebug Designs); pink sequins (Treehouse Studios)
