You Brighten My Day
Here’s my card for this week’s sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch. I put together a cheery design using a combination of die cut pieces for the focal image.
For the three elements on the image panel, I used two white felt clouds along with a pair of circles, layered to make a sun, over a strip of light blue dotted patterned paper. The sun is adhered over the clouds with dimensional dots. I scattered a trio of white sequins around the die cut pieces for a little sparkle. The “you brighten my day” sentiment from Lawn Fawn’s Summertime Charm set is stamped at the bottom of the cardfront in teal ink.
Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers: Lawn Fawn Summertime Charm stamp set, Tsukineko Memento Luxe Teal Zeal ink, Fancy Pants Down by the Shore 6x6 paper pad, Echo Park All About a Boy 6x6 paper pad, white sequins, Sticky Thumb dimensional dots
other: Sea Glass cardstock (Avery Elle); Pumpkin Pie cardstock (Stampin' Up!); pinking circle die (Spellbinders); circle punch (EK Success)
