Soda-lighted You're my Friend

This week’s blogger challenge theme is friendship. I put together this clean and simple design using the Soda-lighted set from Fresh Squeezed Stamps.

Soda-lighted-designed by Lori Tecler-Inking Aloud-stamps from Fresh Squeezed Stamps
I stamped the pair of soda bottles on a white panel in black ink, using a sticky note to do a little masking so that it would look like one bottle was in front of the other. I colored the bottles and straws with Spectrum Noir markers. The set’s friendship themed sentiment is stamped beneath the bottles in red ink.

I layered the colored image panel on a kraft mat, then adhered it to a light blue card base. It’s accented with a long red fishtail flag strip with a twine tied button at the top.

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers: Fresh Squeezed Stamps Soda-lighted stamp set, Crafter's Companion ultrasmooth white cardstock, Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black and Lady Bug inks, Spectrum Noir markers (TN5, TN6, TN7, CR9, BT1, BT2), Hemptique white hemp twine

other: Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Sea Glass cardstock (Avery Elle); Desert Storm cardstock (Neenah); red button (Michaels)
